About the Workshop

Jill's innovative and direct approach to getting deep into the body where stories are stored is useful for all levels of practice. Her contagious enthusiasm will render you willing to dig in and explore. No matter your current style of practicing yoga, her techniques will reveal more details.

We will gather 2 times for two distinct workshops. We encourage you to attend all three if possible.

Breathe In...Bliss Out
A Workshop in Conscious Relaxation and Yoga Nidra
Friday Night, February 5
6 to 8pm

Proper breathing provides a fast track towards unwinding stress. Muscular tension, postural imbalances, and day-to-day anxiety all impede the breath’s flow. Learn how to breathe correctly with sedating exercises from yoga, body therapy, meditation, and massage. Come learn the age defying secrets of Yoga Nidra, or "yogic sleep", and master the art of “Blissing Out.”

No Yoga experience necessary. Students of any level are welcome.

Core Integration: A Total Abdominal Awakening
Saturday, February 6
1 to 4pm

Access the deepest part of your core and welcome its ecstatic potential.

Core Integration is a Yoga based workshop specifically addressing issues lodged deep inside your core, not only physical, but also emotional and spiritual. Unlock the power of your center and reconnect to the stories buried within.

This series of extraordinarily deep abdominal exercises strengthens you from inside out and is designed to penetrate weak muscle fibers, awaken sluggish organs, stretch scar tissue, and cultivate vibrancy throughout your nervous system. The class intelligently presents a vast array of abdominopelvic exercises reconnecting you to your belly in a thoroughly conscious way.

Core Integration significantly enhances your Yoga practice, noticeably sharpening the quality of your inversions and backbends. It is a safe and transformative class for those dealing with specific core injuries and is a challenge for all levels- from newcomers to teachers. You will leave class rooted in the radiant support of your integrated core.

 
Workshop Guidelines:
• Please inform Jill ahead of time if you have a specific injury
• Do not eat 3 hours prior to class
• Bring a small hand towel
• Not appropriate during pregnancy

About Jill Miller
Jill_Miller
Jill’s 24 years of movement expertise includes the moving arts of Yoga, Modern Dance, Pilates, Bodywork and Shiatsu. She is a Yoga Alliance ERYT. Her teaching playfully integrates the nuts and bolts of human movement coupled with profound yogic philosophy. Jill teaches her unique style Yoga Tune Up® internationally, and her signature class is taught at Equinox around the US. She has been featured in Self, Marie Claire, Fit Yoga, Yoga Journal, Women’s Running, and on NPR; the LA Times calls her “kinetically arresting.” She is a “Contributing Expert” at Gaiam.com.
