Love Yoga? Love Kids? This workshop is for you! Come and explore yoga through the eyes of a child. Yoga and kids are a natural combination, and in this workshop you will learn how to introduce yoga to kids and make it fun. Whether you're a classroom teacher, parent, yoga teacher, or simply the kind of person who relishes the opportunity to get down on the ground and be a wiggly worm, you will learn to share your love of yoga with the wee people.

As a child Betsy watched animals bend and stretch and tried to imitate their flexibility, agility, economy of movement, and grace. She was a tree climber, horseback rider, runner, soccer player, and gymnast, and by the time she began studying the asanas in college she had already acquired a list of injuries and imbalances. She quickly noticed that yoga made her feel better. She became an English, French, and yoga teacher, and the vata wind carried her around the world. |
The two constants in her life have been yoga and teaching. She has completed 3 yoga teacher trainings, including Lulu Bandha's, and Thai Yoga Massage trainings with Saul David Raye. She holds a B.A. in English from Williams College and an M.A. from Stanford in Curriculum Development and Teacher Education.
As a teacher Betsy tries to love all her students and to help them to connect to their breath, their bodies, and their beauty. She currently teaches yoga and French (and occasionally yoga in French) to children and adults in Napa, California. She is grateful to all her teachers, especially her family, for their love, dedication, and patience. |
