John_Farm

One of the best parts of the Crib is the Food served up by the Farmer and the Cook. Organic and locally grown by Steve Sprinkle, John Fonteyn (pictured) and team, then deliciously prepared by Olivia Chase and team, you will feel nourished and loved with each bite.

Breakfast and Lunch will be served and sold at Crib Headquarters. You will find chai, fresh squeezed orange juice, organic homemade muffins, fruit and other treats in the mornings. Delicious soups and salads are offered at lunch. Food is not included in the price of the ticket. Read more about Farmer and the Cook.

One of the most wonderful comments we hear every year is: "I finally found the teacher within." When choosing the Crib Teachers, we seek to align with souls who possess humor, wisdom, passion, spirit and vision. We like teachers who are able to share themselves completely and fully without imposing their path on you. This year we have several fresh new faces like Laura Tyree from Florida, Revital Carroll from Arizona and Diego del Sol from San Francisco mixed in with all old time favorites like Dana Flynn, Saul David Raye, Patricia Sullivan, Jason Crandell and of course, Papa Bear Erich Schiffmann.

We're gathering to play, grow and practice. We are delighted to help you pick the right playlist for you.

About_Ojai

Oak_Tree

Ojai is a magical mystical place that has long been understood as a spirtual pilgrimage destination.

Nestled in the arms of the South Padre National Forrest, the name Ojai (pronounced O-HIGH) is derived from the Chumash word “Awhai”. The word is thought to mean “The Nest” or “The Moon” and Ojai is often called “The Valley of the Moon”. Read More about Ojai.

Walking_Crib

If you stay within town, you will not need a car over the weekend. Many of the yoga venues are right in town and we provide transportation to the ones that are up in the hills. Past guests have said that the school bus rides are one of their favorite parts of the Crib.
