The Crib is a yoga pilgrimage. Built on the rich Spiritual Tradition of the Ojai Valley, the yoga sessions, meditations, and evening events take place in some of the most historically significant and sacred spots in the Valley.
You pick 5 teachers and 2 alternates with whom you would like to practice and then we handweave your schedule accordingly.

" I am still in Awe of my last several days in Ojai at the YOGA CRIB. I am THRILLED about what I experienced and what I learned from all my teachers over the weekend. The theme was JOY for me, opening up to JOY, LAUGHTER, and GRADITUDE.
It is imortant to LAUGH and not take things so serious. Thank you SO much...for your tender loving care in all the details and for bringing some of the best yoga teachers together for a taster for us to savour. I am HOOKED!!!" - Melissa, '09

Ojai is a magical mystical place that has long been understood as a spirtual pilgrimage destination.
Nestled in the arms of the South Padre National Forrest, the name Ojai (pronounced O-HIGH) is derived from the Chumash word “Awhai”. The word is thought to mean “The Nest” or “The Moon” and Ojai is often called “The Valley of the Moon”. Read More about Ojai.

If you stay within town, you will not need a car over the weekend. Many of the yoga venues are right in town and we provide transportation to the ones that are up in the hills. Past guests have said that the school bus rides are one of their favorite parts of the Crib.

One of the best parts of the Crib is the Food. Organic and locally grown, then deliciously prepared, you will feel nourished and loved with each bite.
Breakfast and Lunch will be served and sold at Crib Headquarters. You will find chai, fresh squeezed orange juice, organic homemade muffins and scones, fruit and other treats in the mornings. Delicious soups and salads are offered at lunch. Food is not included in the price of the ticket.

The Crib is an "in-town-retreat" and Crib Guests make their own housing arrangements. There is a variety of places to stay throughout the Valley. From quaint bed and breakfasts in the heart of town, to luxurious inns, to retreat centers to lakeside camping and couches in local homes. Read more about Where to Stay.

The Ojai Yoga Crib happens because of the loving supportive magical group of yogis who gather to host it and the sweet souls who return year after year to dive in together.
