Graduation Day

We gathered from 1 to 3:00 or so.
We gathered in a circle.

Everyone Turned in a Full Self Designed Class. Wow!

One last assignment, live.
1. Write out your questions, from small to big.  Not just regarding yoga or teaching, but within your life.

Read from Rilke’s Letters to a Young Poet:

“Be patient toward all that is unresolved in your heart. Try to love the questions themselves. Do not now seek the answers which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them now. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps, you will then gradually without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.” -- Rainer Maria Rilke

2. Write out the qualities of a Yogini/Yogi.  These are your personal guidelines.

3. Write out the qualities of a Yoga Teacher.  Circle the most important and share.

Some of the words were: humility, loving kindness, patience with self, reflective listening, inspirational.

This led us to a short discussion on Self Love.  How to show up even we are not what we aspire to be.  How to make room for ourselves and therefore others.
