Choosing Teachers, not Classes

At the Ojai Yoga Crib, we do not ask teachers to give us class descriptions. We know that it is almost impossible to predict exactly what one might teach in advance. Simultaneously, we believe that it is not so much what a teacher teachers, but who they are that transmits the Yoga.
Therefore, we ask that the teachers of the Crib to offer what is close, personal and fresh for each of them at the time of the event. And we ask our Crib guests to have faith that what gets taught will be just right.
We have some hints on how you might choose your teachers on the Crib Teacher Page. We are more than happy to connect to discuss. Once your teachers are chosen, and we are nearing the date of the event, we hand-schedule your classes.
We take several factors into account: • Weaving your schedule with friends as requested • Ensuring a variety of venues • Scheduling your more active classes for morning, and chill classes for afternoon • Location of your accommodations • Time for Lunch
We suggest asking your teachers and friends for suggestions. Perhaps use this forum to get some feedback. We discourage you from forcing yourself to check out a teacher. Usually picking who seems the shiniest to you is a good strategy. We look forward to seeing you.
