Trauma buries itself deep in the body. Not only must the timing be correct to become aware of it, but the creation of safe conditions to release its binding protective structure requires skill and patience.
I am just starting to become aware of the terror that has its grip on me. These yoga videos are of a sequence of postures and techniques that are my early attempts at creating a relationship with the interior grip. I am new to this. I am doing my best to share what I am finding.
This is a prop happy sequence. You will need a bolster, several blankets, a yoga block. These can be orderded fro a variety of sources online. Ideally, you might also have access to a soft air filled ball, like Gertie Ball.
