| Jason Crandell Yoga Workshop at Lulu Bandha's |
| This footage is from a 3 day Workshop in April 2007 at Lulu Bandha's with Jason Crandell. |
In this clip, Jason Crandell is demonstrating how to approach Hanumanasana using 1 or 2 bricks under the front sitbone for support so that we can "balance the equation," equally attend to both legs, upper body and breath.
Please keep in mind that this is just a clip from a 3 day workshop, and not all topics presented will feel as flushed out as they were in the workshop. We recommend attending a training with Jason.

| Workshop Description: |
| 8th grade Algebra vs. Yoga: |
Okay, this is the one subject I ever got a “D” in. However, I remember one crucial element of keeping equations balanced: If you add or subtract something to one side of the equation, you have to do the same to the other side. Yes? Please stay with me. Now, if you are interested in cultivating a unified state (yoga) in your asana practice, you have to consider this basic algebraic relationship. And, this is how you’ll do it:
In this practice you will do a little bit of everything… standing poses, hip-openers, shoulder-work, twists, and so on. It will be fun and satisfying and feel really good. But, more importantly, you’ll learn how to move more deeply into each pose by creating truly balanced actions throughout your body. In doing so, you’ll nourish your nervous system, cultivate greater balance and awareness in your body, and draw your mind inward.

About Lulu Bandha's Yoga School
Established in March 2002, Lulu Bandha's is a community of blossoming yogis tuning into their own alignment. We are not committed to one particular style, rather we are interested in offering techniques that might help you relax into yourself.
We believe that the best way to learn how to teach yoga is to start teaching yoga. The authentic inspiration to share and connect with others will naturally guide you. However, we also know that deepening the understanding through trainings and workshops with yogis already on the path can help grow the heart, strengthen the confidence and connect you with a supportive community. We are a Registered Yoga School with the Yoga Alliance. Read more about Lulu Bandha's Yoga School.
