Lulu Bandha's for the New York Times: Yoga Sock Testing

Sarah Bowen Shea asked me to test 6 different pairs of socks claiming to be good for yoga practice without a mat. Like a good science geek I recorded my first impressions, practice session and summary of each of the socks. The written piece is online and appears in print on Thursday, December 17 in the Physical Culture section of the New York Times. You can watch the collection of videos here.

Latest N'cest-pas?

Paul Grilley is a genius. His facility with the physical and subtle anatomy of the body is mind blowing, literally. He leads workshops and retreats and teacher trainings around the world with his partner Suzee. We highly recommend attending one if you have the opportunity. He has a lot of great DVDs out through Pranamaya. See video from his past workshops at Lulu Bandha's and at the Ojai Yoga Crib. His home base is Ashland, OR.
Erich Schiffmann is the 'Chairman of the Board' of the Ojai Yoga Crib. Practicing for over 40 years, Schiffmann gives us the tools and permission to follow our own inner guidance. Author of one of the best modern texts on yoga, "Yoga: The Spirit and Practice of Moving into Stillness," Erich teaches around the globe. Watch more video of Erich.
