| Some Words About Recovery |
| We all have the potential for limitless joy, unfailing love, and unshakable wholeness. It takes great courage to recognize and abandon limitations holding us back from becoming our true selves. One of yoga’s gifts is that of personal transformation. Yogic tools will enrich and support us as we face challenges of daily living, and allow us to cultivate, refine and ultimately celebrate our highest potential. The practice of Recovery is relevant for almost everybody. |

| Practicing at Home |
| We recommend coming in for class to get started. The magic of working directly with a teacher and developing a supportive group of yogi friends has proven to be powerful and effective. But we offer some online yoga videos that might help you get started and stay connected to what you are learning in the studio. |

| Change Requires Practice |
Change requires practice. Most of us come to the realization that we are bound in cycles that we have been practicing 20, 30, 40, maybe even 60 or 70 years. Strategies that may have at one time served as necessary protection from suffering, eventually start to cut us off from experiencing the full joyful spectrum of life. |
Yoga has been our crowbar. Gently and tenderly, the practice creates the necessary spaciousness and courage to look closely and allow for alignment with our deeper more magnificent selves. |
| In the beginning, we recommend attending class no less than two times a week, with a regular practice of three being best to start. This will allow you to become more intimate with the feelings of ease and openness which will be your leaping point from the addictions that have you. |
